During the study trip I had the chance to interview two groups, Habitat for Humanity  and  Improv for Charity. Both groups were very enthusiastic about speaking to us about what their missions and how they manage to keep on working towards their goal. Habitat for Humanity builds homes for people that are less fortunate so that they can have a comfortable and safe place to live in. Improv for Charity produces student comedy theater to raise money for charity. Both Improv for Charity, Habitat for Humanity inspired me to take opportunities to do things that I am either passionate or interested in. Some big takeaways from this study trip was definitely positive because it's such an amazing feeling to know that there are others in the world willing to make a change in the world, society, and community.

My public pitch went well, but not as good as I was expecting it to be. Over all, I think I did a good job and I think that the amount of work that I did reflects the outcome because it was the grade that I was looking for. One of the public pitches that I enjoyed very much was Andrea and Celeste's presentation on littering. They included multimedia by including pictures, capturing and entertaining the audience by their presentation.

My project is about providing warm meals for less fortunate people. I'm excited about this project because it gives me a chance to do something that I've wanted to do for a long time. I think that I might come across a few obstacles in order to accomplish what I want to do. I'm not feeling too good about my public pitch just yet, because there are things I still need to finish in order to make it look good. I'll try to incorporate some multimedia in my public pitch to catch my audiences attention.
